Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what Ghost Oracle collects, why, and what you can control. It applies to the @GhostOracleBot Telegram bot, this website, the API, and the associated products. Ghost Oracle is built on a simple belief: trust should be earned from demonstrated behavior, not from surrendering more of yourself than a transaction requires.
1. Information we collect
- Telegram identifiers. Your Telegram user ID and username, which link to your Ghost ID. We do not collect your Telegram password or private messages.
- Ghost ID and reputation. The identity, history, and standing you build through activity on the Service.
- Transaction and wallet data. Deposits, transfers, payment links, escrow deals, drops, balances, and settlement records needed to operate the products.
- Referral data. Your referral link usage and the count and subscription status of users you refer, used to calculate commissions.
- Usage data. Commands issued, features used, and technical logs required to run, secure, and improve the Service.
2. How we use information
- To provide the products you use: intelligence, payments, wallet, escrow, identity, drops, and referrals.
- To calculate fees, settle value, and deliver referral commissions.
- To detect abuse, fraud, and manipulation, and to keep the Service secure.
- To improve accuracy, performance, and product quality.
- To meet legal obligations that apply to us.
3. On-chain data is public
When value moves on a public blockchain, the transaction is recorded on that chain by its nature, outside our control, and is visible to anyone. Ghost ID is designed to let you be recognized by reputation without exposing more than the interaction needs, but activity settled on-chain is inherently public.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in limited cases: with service providers who help operate the Service under confidentiality obligations, when required by law or valid legal process, to protect the rights and safety of users and the Service, and in connection with a business transfer. Aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably identify you may be used for research such as public rug and risk trends.
5. Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Some records, such as settled transactions, are retained longer for integrity and compliance.
6. Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect data, including minimized custody, isolated keys, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, and you are responsible for the security of your Telegram account, which is the gateway to your Ghost ID.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete certain personal data, and to object to or restrict some processing. You can exercise these rights through our Telegram support. Note that some data cannot be deleted where we are required to retain it, and on-chain records cannot be altered or removed.
8. Third-party services
The Service runs on top of Telegram and public blockchains, and may rely on infrastructure providers. Your use of Telegram is governed by Telegram's own terms and privacy policy, and blockchain activity is governed by the nature of the network. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has used the Service, contact us so we can address it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date below, and continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
11. Contact
Privacy questions can be sent through our Telegram support.
